Unfortunately, I won't be there. I am at Road Atlanta that weekend for a PCA Club Race.

Dang Rob - you know all the cool stuff. We didn't realize this one was celebrating the 914 specifically until a few weeks ago and Clay had committed to the Road Atlanta thing months ago.

The Road Atlanta race was scheduled last fall. I have my flight booked and everything....

And you can't drive the six. The carbs are off the motor being rebuilt.

And the 4.0L isn’t done yet, either! I guess I’ll have to drive mine. On the plus side I did give it a nice wash and general clean up yesterday.

The engine in the six is fine. The carbs are being rebuilt.

I am going to Road Atlanta as part of the PCA National Timing and Scoring team. I get to spend 3 days staring at a computer that is timing race cars, instead of staring at a computer to fix servers.

We've got my car all cleaned up and will be there early to get us some of that prime 914 parking! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/first.gif)

Al Zim was kind enough to take us up on our offer to display a few of our larger scale 914 centric art pieces.

You'll have to check out the two silver and purple pieces in the lobby - they used to be displayed at a Porsche dealer.

Also, look for the table we made out of a wheel rim! (NO it is not for sale - that's an actual rim off my car that had cracked while autocrossing)! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif)
