Just an update from last year, about September I was able to install themotor and take the car to Okteenerfest, after being repainted etc. During the time it was at body and paint I redid all the seals for the 3rd time on the pushrod tubes! but also front crank seal and retorqued heads since they were about 50% of recommended values and I had what looked like some compression blow by at the case/cylinder junction. Well now its been a few months and about 2,000 miles of on and off driving and even driving to Amelia Islandand back earlier in the month. Very little oil use and no leaks !! The seals I used from McMark were kind of squarish, installed just with oil and lots of tlc to make sure they didn't bind up. So now my 2 Porsche's are leak free, but my '04 Jag VDP, well that's a whole 'nother story!
