I’m putting new intake manifolds on my ‘75 2.0 and the manifold needs 80mm studs for the outer holes. These are turning out to be difficult to source. Has anyone here used a threaded rod and cut it down? Is the metal hard enough?

Man, what a coincidence. I just measured and sourced 80mm studs for my intakes yesterday. Belmetric has them.
