Yes it is a great color, the best color imho, and a complete matching numbers project of the most desirable year/model of the 914/4. Thanks for looking. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) But am totally biased!!! |

$7.5k seems to be about the asking price for a complete restoration candidate these days. 5 clean mags? $1.4k. Other things count. Heat exchanger condition? Could have f&r bars. Things could get out of control if the new owner wasn't a hands on person.

Yes, it does have factory bars and yes, if you are not hands on it can get expensive quickly. All true. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) But am totally biased!!! No reason not to be, Marathon is one of my favorites along with Delphi Green, both special colors of course. Thanks for the feedback. |

After talking to some other experts I am going to ask $7500 and take the best offer through Hershey this weekend. You can see the car in person there and make any determinations you want on value, originality etc. You can also have a buddy take as many photos as you want of any detail if you can't make it, but I doubt it will last long. Clear title will be in hand so can make a deal on the spot and you can pick up if you have enough folding green stuff. Yes it is a great color, the best color imho, and a complete matching numbers project of the most desirable year/model of the 914/4. Thanks for looking. I think that is fair value if the tub is sound. Best year and best color IMHO for the 914. GLWS. |
