My 914-6 had 'decent' but not great front end condition. But now that its in the air, motor out, I figured I'd do some other things to make it a nicer landing.
The car has a Weltmeister sway bar. It's a '70, so maybe came without a bar, but a Porsche 16mm would be great to have. Anyone have one? Rebuilding rack? Who do you recommend? I've got the gray Boges now, but do I refurb those or upgrade to...? Is there a one-stop shop that'd have all I need? My car's about 90% stock, and I've no interest in doing any irreversible mods. Just want a nice, street-driven, enjoyable car. Subtle upgrades are great. Any input greatly appreciated. |

Congrats!
There is t really a one stop “while you’re in there” store, but recommend New A-arm bushings, master cylinder and refurb steering rack from 914Rubber. Turbo tie rods from Elephant. New shocks and possibly refurbished calipers from PMB. I’m sure others will chime in with more (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

I can only add to replace the brake caliper soft lines front and back and rubber gas lines if they are older. |
