46 years ago today, I walked into Park Porsche in Lawrence Mass.
with my dad and he co-signed for me to buy my 914.
They tried to talk him out of signing because “the kid was going
to kill himself in the car”..
It was a lifetime ago now.... How fast time passes....
A few 911’s and a 930 have come and gone but the 914 is still here....

Bought mine 46 years ago too! Remember that day well, always wanted one but had to wait until I finished college and got a job. My wife left me earlier which is good because she probably wouldn’t let me buy one! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I was 18 and just out of High School.

I actually wanted a 750 Honda but the parents said
Buy a nice Car instead.
