Well, after a bad ECU, clogged injectors and then NADA, I figured it out. I was 180 out. I slid the wires around 180 and it fired right up. You know, that Haynes shows the distributor driveshaft keyed to one side which I believe I mimicked. Either my eyes are bad or that pic is off. Personally I don't care. Just ran the engine 20 minutes at 2000 RPM for 20 minutes with break in oil. I put a O2 bung in the muffler and had a reading of 14.0 I need to understand what that means as I will be reading up on that soon.
What a journey. I would like to thank everyone. Tremendous help. Going to change the oil out and check the valves. |
