It's very common in the Japanese tuner side. https://www.club4ag.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10174 Essentially you cut the arm in the middle and weld on a extension section to gain additional negative camber. You'll probably only need 10-15mm worth of extension to get what you're looking for. That is a VERY interesting idea. Thank you for the link as well. This could be a fix to what I'm trying to do and be budget friendly. Kudos on ya (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif) Do the math before you decide to proceed. This will reduce the effective torsion bar and sway bar stiffness; the amount depends on how much length you add. I suspect you are trying to keep it as stiff as possible for the track. Better grip from the increased camber and lower wheel spring rate may not end up accomplishing what you wanted to. |
