Looking to create an Audi style dash gauge pod. Has anyone tried this? Did a Google search with no luck. Not a fan of pillar mounted gauges. Probably going with Battery / Oil Temp / maybe a clock...or Cylinder Head Temp. VDO gauges, of course. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

VDO stopped making the CHT.... so if you're going for pretty, they won't match. I like the "deposit box" the 3 gauge thing wastes so much space. So I bought 2 VDO type 2 hole "L" brackets and put them under the dash and at the top of the deposit box. Very functional. A/F OT OP CHT

A/F OT OP CHT VDO probably stopped making their CHT because there’s a far better option out there. Zach, a simple reconstruction of the back of the center console opens up a world of extra room; I’m a size 11 and no longer have any issues with my foot getting stuck. That said, I like the look of the no console. But where would I put all the gauges? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) |
