The righteous sound of a SIX.

It has been a long wait for me to hear the sound of my fresh six in my factory 914-6 number 41. The 30th car down the production line.

Late 3.0 Carrera engine with 3.2 bigger vales heads, with special grind cam and 2 in 2 out Dansk muffler with stock factory heat exchangers and 46 PMO carburetors. Engen built by Scott Kinder and installed by Eric at PMB. Not Dyno Tuned or broken in yet. Eric gets to do the honors right there in Sandy UT. Eric may increase the size of the 2 in a little to match the 2 out on the Dansk. I am very happy with the sound at this point.

I got this car in Dec., 2007

Mine with 46s literally sucks, but that’s the price to play. But what an induction sound. If you want 30 MPG don’t convert to a 6.

Yeah but...a lot of that has to do with operator to the go pedal interface and I've never figured out how to press on it like a regular boring car. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I did not know what it would sound like with the 2 in 2 out muffler but it is all i could hope for. My 928 does not sound that sweet

There is really nothing quite like the first time you hear your 914 fire up with a fresh six in it.

Congrats!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)
