So will the soldering of the lead cause or change the operating resistance ?
I will replace it but I need to get it going & over memorial day WE I aint gonna find one.

Are we talking about the one screwed in the head near #3 chamber, or we talking about one that screws under a spark plug.
the spark plug ones are thermocouples but I'm not sure if the #3chamber are TC's or a different thermistor device. Experts needed.
