I know there are old threads on this topic but thought it would be fun to share my latest 914 fantasy with the group. Any idea on how the rear of this 914 was built? Maybe using the rear end from a Subaru brat or was it all hand formed?

Hand made. At least two of them. There’s a recent pic of the 914-6 safety car.

One original Aase Bro 914 pick up was built by Dick Troutman. Dick Troutman built my 6 #41 back in the 70s. Rod Simson had a silver 914 Pickup with a V8 and 7s 951 wheels all around. I saw it 10 years ago.

This was my 1980 Caddy 1.5L diesel modified with an iHi turbo @ 9psi. It was all about big mpg, and easily cruising up the I-5 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) Attached Image
