Wrapping up a 8 yr restoration project on my 73 Zambezi green and could use some help on the final finishing details.
Could someone tell me which way the rear regular license plate lights go? They have the ability to mount both ways on the bumper cover. From what I can tell on these lights, they have small ribs only on one long side of the lights. Do the ribs go towards the car or away?

Thanks in advance.

Offhand I do not recall. However I believe it is the wiring that sort of dictates alignment.

In case it helps, my 3-owner ‘70 with correct bumper is pretty original and has both of them mounted with the ribs away from the car.
