Back a few years ago this was an NLA chunk of rubber with a few steel plates that went for $2500 for a 40 year old part. I see now on ebay these have been reproduced by URO (shudder) for $150ish and wondered if people have tried them?
I was going down the sport transmission mount approach but would try this if it was any good. John |

I recently installed on my original 914-6 the URO 914-6 trans mounts and just haven't felt like dropping the engine to install the URO front mount yet. Both the front and trans mounts are nice reproductions of the original parts. I'm pleased with the quality of the parts and the price. Time will tell on the wear properties.... Here are a few pics of the URO trans mount compared to the OEM one. It's obvious that the old one has compressed over the years. |
