Even though I had trouble getting started this morning, it was a great day for getting stuff done on the teener. The weather was perfect temperature and it didn't rain. Even though it got windy, it was never a problem.

I laid under the car with the radio tuned to Car Talk and did my first post-breakin valve adjustment and oil change. It's nice to do something that is just routine maintenance instead of fixing something!

That went so well that I decided to tackle the alignment of the passenger window. It was too high and would always catch the roof rubber and stick out to the side. It took a lot of finessing, but it looks good now and the door shuts/opens pretty well. Somehow I could never get myself to work on this during all those months that the car was laid up. Now that it's running, it just seemed like I needed to get it done.

There was still daylight left to wash the car, the Honda, mow the front weed patch and make burgers on the grill for supper. I need more Saturdays like this!
