Looking for a distributor vacuum advance canister that still holds vacuum as mine doesn't anymore. Just need the canister as my distributor has been rebuilt and is otherwise in good working order.

Bosch part # 022 905 271 (was on all of the 74, 75, and 76 year 2.0 liter distributors and apparently on the later '73 cars)

Thanks!

Yeah, not getting my hopes up.
I did find this on Pelican though... May have to call them and see what’s up.

Your number is right for some ‘73 year cars, but the other #s you give don’t match the info I found after reading several threads on the subject:

1973: 039 905 205 (vac canister 022 905 271 C): 0 231 174 010 (009 without VW sign/logo), up to 1973/6

1974: 039 905 205A (vac canister 022 905 271): 0 231 174 012 (011 without VW sign/logo), 1973/7 to 1974/7

1975-1976: 039 905 205B (vac canister 022 905 271): 0231 172 022 (021 without VW sign/logo) 1974/8 to 1975/12
