EDIT - I FORGOT TO INCLUDE THE LAS VEGAS CONCOURS ON SEPT 28, SO I'VE ADDED IT BELOW & MADE A FEW RELATED CORRECTIONS.

FYI - If you're interested in going for the year-end Zone 8 Concours awards, there's still time & shows to make it.

You'll need to enter either 33% (4) of the 10 11 Concours listed below including one out of state; or enter 51% (6) of the 10 11 if all are in-state (you'd have to have entered some of the first 5 to get this);

Plus in both cases you'll need to earn 300 service points by volunteering either as a judge (100 per event) or runner/timer/scoring/etc. (75) & other event volunteering at various Zone 8 events.

Zone 8 Concours earlier in 2019 to date:

1. Zone 8 Awards CdE in Woodland Hills / Jan. 19,
2. Cal Inland (Santa Clarita)/ April 13,
3. Southern AZ (Tuscon area) / May 4,
4. Grand Prix (Long Beach/Lakewood area) / May 5
5. Orange County Region (Dana Point) / June 15

Upcoming Sept-Nov 2019 Zone 8 Concours events:

6. LA Region / Sept 15
7. San Gabriel Valley Region / Sept 22
8. Las Vegas (Red Rocks CdE) / Sept 28
9. Santa Barbara Region / Oct 13
10. San Diego Region / Oct 19
11. Arizona Region (Phoenix area) / Nov 2

So go pick your Division & for it! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cheer.gif)

> Wash & Shine (Exterior & Interior only judged)

> Street (above plus Engine & Storage [both trunks on a 914] judged)

> Unrestored (same as Street, but must have 75% orignal paint & 75% original interior)

> Ubergang (for newer Porsches with no engine access, so Ext/Int/Stor)

> Full Concours (adds Undercarriage with & without engine to Ext/Int/Eng/Stor)

> Ganz Ubergang (same as Full, but no Engine)

> Special Categories (Ext/Int/Eng/Stor - per subdivs. below - see Rules for more details)
- SC1 - Unique or Modified Porsches, incl non-Porsche Engine
- SC2 - Raced Porsches within past 12 months
- SC3 - Limited Production Porsches

All areas are judged the same - no matter which Division, but the number of areas 2, 3, 4, 6 are the only differences in how much is judged - therfore how many you'll need to prep, clean & detail for judging.

There is a 914 only Class in every Division above (as well as for the other Porsche models' Classes) - except for SC, where the Subie/V8/EV/etc engined would enter; SC2 where raced 914s would enter; or 916s & factory 914-8s & any other one-off or low number factory numbers or prototypes would be in SC3 - & it's subdivisions are all inclusive for all models, but they're usually very small numbers entered at most shows.

ALL of the above Divisions have annual awards for both overall Division plus for each Class by model type - or for SC1, SC2, SC3 - so plenty of hardware to go around!

Cheers! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
