Just like the title says:

- Can anyone tell me the transmission ground strap length? Is it more than 8 inches?

- Will Swepco Moly 101 work on the front wheel bearings?

I think you could use shorter, but it may be a little harder to install. Not saying you can’t.

Moly is for CV's and not recommended for wheel bearings by most grease manufacturers.

For everyday cars the Mobil1 synthetic wheel bearing grease works great and is available at AutoZone for a reasonable price.

I started using Swepco 101 for wheel bearings some 25+ years ago and never had a problem.
I use it for CV as well and most anything else I need grease for.

My ground cable was made out of a piece of heavy 200amp welder cable with sealed crimped copper eyelets, its totally sealed then ,my old original on was all crusty and stiff I didn't want to use it.

Been using it for years no issue.
For Ford moly is the only recommended grease for it's wheel bearings.
