Having owned a LOT of cars and modifying nearly every single one, Ive come to realize that the best approach is to buy the least modified one and take care when adding modifications, and try to avoid mods that are not reversible.

That said, how do you justify a -6 swap when using all Porsche parts? The 6 seems to be perfect for the car but where do you draw the line? 2.0 is correct but does that make a 2.4 or a 2.7 too much. What about a 3.0/ 3.2 /3.6? ... tough decisions.

I think the problem might be that everyone's idea of "ruining it" might be different.

To some, repainting one a color it didn't come with originally would be ruining it.

To others turning one into the full blown track car of their dreams would not be ruining it.

Who gets to decide what "ruining it" means?

There is only one thing I will put on my car that won't be reversible:

Mileage.
