Hi everyone,

I'm really keen on running some soft-ish front koni reds in may standard 914 1.7 with boge struts (the bumps are giving me too much feedback with the bilsteins)...

so, are the 911/912 koni reds, as in :

https://www.carnoisseur.com/products/detail...ASABEgIv2vD_BwE

interchangeable? I suspect not: possibly a different length?

any wisdom on this or alternate struts gratefully received!

thanks

alex

IIRC the boge struts support both the Bilstein and the Koni Shocks. I have boge struts and was running koni’s and I switched to Bilstein. I am running 911, 3.5” boge struts.

The 911 inserts will fit the 914 boge struts as long as they are not specifically for the 911S that came with the Koni Struts.
The valving is for the 911 which is a heavier vehicle and may not be optimal for the 914.

I have always found the Koni shocks more comfortable than the Bilstein shocks, even Koni sports.
YMMV
