For sale, a 914 muffler just removed from a 1972 914 1.7 liter. So should fit all 1.7's, and probably a 1974 1.8 with stock heat exchangers. Not sure about 75 1.8. Will not fit a 2L with 2 liter heat exchangers.

Asking $125.00 OBO plus shipping. Box size is 50"x12"x11" and weights 25lbs shipped from Sarasota FL.

Muffler consists of a used collector we think from a Sebring or similar exhaust system. The silencer is a just purchased Magnaflow stainless steal unit. The system was only on the 914 for less than 4 months and about 1000 miles. Collector portion in good shape.

It does fit in the stock position inside the short 914 rear valance. All clamps included.

Sound is throaty but not overly loud. We had Bursch systems and Monza exhaust in the past, and this sound seems to be similar.

Thanks for looking.
