I am wanting to buy a car cover for my 914 with flares. Stored in garage so does not have to be all weather. Looking for good fit.I live in Tahoe and the car is black. Lots of pollen this time of year. Thanks for any help.

I just went to my FLAPS and got a $35 cover. I keep my car in a garage but wanted something to protect from dust since I do woodworking and other projects.

This one:

I washed the car, put the cover on and it's stayed nice for about a week so far. I live in SoCal near Magic Mountain. We get a little wind and dust and the cover has kept the car clean.

Dustop Soft As Flannel Indoor Custom Car Cover from https://www.calcarcover.com/product/dustop-car-cover/3931 -

or Covercraft: https://www.covercraft.com/us/en/product/cu...ar-cover.C-CCDP

but that's not with flairs. I'm guessing if you contact either they can help customize. - or perhaps a standard 914 cover would just have a tight fit on one with flairs....

I have a covercraft outdoor cover. It seems to me there is enough material for the additional 2-3 inches on each side of a flared car bit I haven't tried it on one. I would give them a call and ask. They are highly regarded and probably know what works.

I recently just bought this one for my 914. I also store it in the garage, but wanted something breathable for indoors and outdoors.

I have a soft cover from Griot's Garage. Perfect fit, soft underside and smooth topside. Had it for years and bought another one for our Audi sedan.

Covercraft for standard 914 fits just fine on a GT. It doesn't seem any tighter than it did on my narrow car.

Any car cover will fit the GT as well as the narrow body. None of the major brands makes mention of the GT.
