Hi guys

I have two sets of what I thought were Cibie bonnet mount spotlights.

I want to sell one set to help fund the engine rebuild, I have two questions....

1. One set have Cibie lenses marked as such with Cibie NL 36 markings

2. The other set has pretty much identical round bodies with Marchal lenses marked as Iode IR TP11SP

My question is which do I sell? Are the Cibies worth more or the Marchals?

I dont know which to keep as the better investment/more original in the future....

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Ben

Not sure if one is more valuable in the world but a new fresh copy is around $600 for a pair. I bought a set for my 6. Plus, the covers. We have to have covers so we do not get a ticket here.

I guess for a guy restoring an early 911 may want the real thing but they would need to be restored. I have seen used ones for $600 or so from time to time over the years.

There are just a few 914 guys that have them on their cars. I do and so does Oscar.
