Replacement part is Standard Motor Parts FJ 67. Hi Sixer: Thanks much for your reply! I previously purchased a Standard Motor Parts FJ67 injector. The injector I received was from Intermotor (SMP FJ67.) I installed it but the electrical connection would not slide into the housing. Also, I noticed that the injector end was about 1/4" shorter and there were 3 sprayers at the tip, not 1 that I have on my original injector. I looked on eBay, Amazon, etc but all of the Standard Motor Parts injectors seem to be identical to the one I received from Intermotors. I did see an injector manufactured by G.P. Sorensen (Part # 800 1061N) on AutoZone's website that looked the same but the part is no longer available and I have not been able to locate another distributor. I also heard from a rebuilder that Lucas makes a good replacement but don't have a part number. The rebuilder also said that Air Tex makes an acceptable injector but not as good as Lucas in his opinion. I am at a loss at this point. Help!!! |
