Please, advice on 911 1972 with an intact body and under $500. I'm searching auto auctions, but can't find any. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)
Need something like this or this but cheaper. Advice on any placements where I can get one except Copart / IAA. I'm located in LA. Thanks in advance. |

Sorry.. Your links are to 914's. But your thread title says 911.
So.. 911 or 914.. which is it? And you expect to find a rusty parts car 911 for less than $500? That's a good one in today's overpriced 911 market. VIN plates alone go for 10x that. Check on www.TheSamba.com? |

Unless it's a rusty picked over POS, $500 isn't going to cut it.

$500 won't buy the front suspension.

If it's a 72' 914 you're looking for, you will not find a clean shell for $500.
If you're looking for a shell to cut up for parts, yes they're out there. |

@racer it's 914, not 911, typo.
Thanks, got it. Then, I'll be observing auctions for getting a good one with the ability to sell needless parts. |

The shell is going to be the cheap part. You may pull it off but when I see posts like this they generallyresulted in uncompleted projects three years later.
