Jamie,
You are correct, that tool was for removing/replacing spark plugs.

And PCH, here is the only "close-up" I have in my 914 picture files of tools.

Like others have said.....swing and a miss.
I agree that the orange tartan exterior has limited appeal.
It is a good collection of tools but the directionless (or pointless) bling will have a very small audience.

For my 914-6 conversion, I wanted a factory-ish tool kit, so picked up individual tools and put together my own.
Not concours or correct, but much more factory looking than the current offering by Porsche Classic.
And mine was not inexpensive to do as well.

I guess the obvious problem with the new tool kit, other than price, is that it will get no points at a concours. So what is the target market for this item?
