Yeah, I agree. Tough crowd. Not sure what year the blue car is, but if it is a mid to late 71 that is the correct rear bumper as they changed mid-year. Regardless, it is nice to see those cars on the road being driven. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

The problem with Tail of the Dragon is you never know if your're going to meet an RV 1/2 way into your lane or a sport bike running wide waiting for an opportunity to go splat!
Can run that road a lot faster but not without it's risks! Agree it is nice to at least see it driven. My neighbor has a generic C6 vette that doesn't get the mileage that this 916 has gotten lately. Cheers for driving it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Yea I agree- context is everything- we were there following along that Okteenerfest and tail of the dragon is now over rated due to heavy traffic , no way to go faster and this is why we are going to Banner Elk!!! Thanks for sharing George, it was a pleasure to see that car in person and in the road. |

I was very disrespectful of the slowpoke biker ahead of me on that ride, following as close as one bike length sometimes, but at least no tire marks on my front bumper.
