I am not complaining because I don’t like to give money to the government but I just got my tag registration renewal notice.
My annual ad valorem tax on my 914 is only 78 cents! Should I tell them my teener is worth more? Naaaa...I think I just keep my secret, Well a....secret! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) |

If the vehicle is registered, be it a car, trailer, motorcycle or boat
you pay excise tax on it... If it isn’t registered, they don’t know it exists, so no tax.. I’m sure they would charge penalties and interest on unpaid taxes and could I suppose revoke your registration.. The excise tax is collected by the city or town the vehicle is primarily Garaged in.. Don’t even get me started on the Sales Tax. They don’t call this Taxachusetts for nothing... |
