What is the advantage to a 6 spring clutch disk?? I have an NOS 4 spring and was planning on using that but what are the issues with them?

This is for a six cyl right?,the six spring is meant to be more durable and supposed to offer smoother "take off'',I was like you had the 4 spring and decided to go to the 6 spring for my 2.2T motor because that seemed the norm.Attached Image

6 smaller springs or 4 bigger ones. It has always been subjective to me. Not sure if the average person would know the difference. I would use what I have.

For reference...SACHS 6 spring

I agree with Mark use what you have
Seems like long a go it was thought that the six spring was a "sport" one
...think it just superseded the 4 spring
I've used both on 4cyl and 6cyl no problem for street use.
