Hello all
I am forced by a move to sell my 914/914/6 parts. These parts are the ones I have kept over 30 years from 20-30 914s. I have restored a couple of cars including a original -6
I have taken the time to inventory these parts so there is no surprises. Also pics of the parts for everyone to view. There is enough great parts to rest a 70-71 -4 or a 70-71 -6
I will not separate these parts! I am sorry if that is inconvenient but I need them to go as one for a lucky restorer who wants to restore an old car correctly. The parts have been relocated to an enclosed trailer that I used to move some of my tools and such. I will also be selling it and have it listed if someone wants to buy the parts and the trailer at the same time. I will have to sell the parts before I can sell the trailer if someone only wants the trailer.I am putting up the parts list and you can view the pics at Flickr. I will try to answer any question you may regarding the sale of these parts.

Please look at the pictures and compare with the inventory list. I spent a lot of time putting this together so that some questions can be answered by looking. These parts will make it possible for someone to complete a car in really nice shape and still have lots of parts in spare. the money I am asking is for just a few of the parts and the rest will be for someones trouble. this would be an easy doubling of your money if you have the time to part them out individually. I do not have this kind of time so I am listing all together only! Please don't ask me to part them up for you! I do not have the time to do it unfortunately not to mention I have had a 914 for 35 years and it stings a bit selling this stuff!
The trailer is a 24 ft hallmark ole pro with a 6500 Onan commercial generator in it .
brakes need some help due to a wiring issue but I have the wire and lights new that I will let go to the new owner so it can also be made right.
Again, I cannot sell the trailer until the parts are sold because since the move that is my parts storage location. parts must go first or a package deal.

$4500 for the parts
$4000 for the trailer

I will entertain offers.

I'm sorry to see one of my primary parts suppliers for the last several years going out of business and wish I had the space for all those parts.

The parts along with that original six project car would make for a very nice and valuable 914.

GLWTS!

There's quite a few large collections of 914 parts for sale at the moment.

I helped sort and organize a local collection that is about the same as yours and it took 3 days just to sort.

The problem is moving and storing the parts. Unless you have a shop or a whole lot of spare time/room these collections aren't something the average enthusiast can handle.

I would recommend "cherry picking" the best parts and tossing/donating the others. The value in the collection is in those parts. Not trying to insult you or devalue your stuff just being realistic in outlook.

not upset at all! yes you are correct about these parts. I have most of the stuff to do another -6 car and just was hoping someone would see that and take advantage of it. easy for me and for someone patient enough to do a car resto. Took me years to find some of this stuff.

I will work on checking what I will sell and toss the rest.
I will put some up week to week.

If you see something you would like let me know . Dont want to toss anything useful to someone in their restoration.

Yeah....I think some folks would be interested in a lot of your parts.
Looks like you're in Alabama.
Probably would need to be folks in your vicinity.

I am entertaining the idea of delivery to someone in the east. The complete dash ,square rear bumper rare unrestored rear lights and interior are worth the price alone. not to mention the -6 oil lines squared early outside mirrors narrow interior mirrors early ebrake handle original fit interior carpet kit and so on
Im getting a bunch of offers for this wigget and such and completely understand the investment issue of an entire parts inventory but it will be better for me to deliver and ensure the safety of the very rare items than trust shipping companies to take care of irreplaceable items .

I loved the willow green -6 you had Perry!
I think William has it now right?
Wish I had the resources to have several cars!
I think Kelvin is sick about me selling this stuff!
I will always help folks with these cars. Will always love them!
