My 6 number 41 had a perfect area by the battery try when I got it. A 1970 car only driven till 1985 then garaged in So CA till we started to restore it. The battery tray had a little roughness to it and I welded a new tray top on just to be perfect (I still have the original one that can be used for someone that does not want a 100% perfect but this car is 100%)
Bob B (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bye1.gif) Before restoration no holes. As it sat when I got it in 2007 with Brown paint on body but it had green paint under the body in Eng. Area. I personally removed all the paint the slow way. 1970 Cannery yellow factory color |

These two shots are from the garage find 1970 4 cylinders that I saved from the crusher 18 months ago. The body really was in good shape for its age. It was garaged from 1985 on till I bought it. Greg bought it and is building a 6 from it. No rust in the longs and even though there was a big hole that you can see to the back of the Eng. compartment the area under the battery look OK. The PO of this car made a battery tray out of wood. This was a 6/70 car. Also in Cannery yellow
