Other side of disk has venting but front side trapped inside of flywheel overheated... two years of use/abuse so not surprising. Attached Image
Replaced it with proper Kennedy racing disk...

My Super Beattle has a 2110 in it. I found this when I took the motor apart for a frozen cylinder. I don't remember it having clutch issues.

It seems we’re living in parallel clutch failure universes.

This just happened this past weekend.

Painfully necessary.

John, had the same thing 30 years ago. Road America, PCA ran high speed auto-cross using the entire track. Some thing felt different the last run. My wife drove home (100 miles) after the weekend event. While she was driving the 914 into the garage which had a 1 inch bump I heard a lump sound...almost all of the clutch disc was in the bottom of the bell housing. Looked like yours. Best, Mark
