Looking for my old 1974 Porsche 914 2.0. The car is black and has a very unique rear spoiler. The last known license number was California 6TND890 and the VIN number is
4742902768. The car appeared in the January 2000 issue of European Car Magazine as a feature car. I regrettably sold the car back in 2004. I have kicked myself ever since and if I can find it again would love to get it back. Anyone who has information as to the present owner and or location of the car can contact me at knittle@cox.net.
Click on the link here and it will take you to a picture of the car.

Thanks in advance for any help you can be. John Knittle…...

Sir Andy: Wow, that was quick. So yes, it was originally built as a white color. When I purchased the car it was Maroon. I changed it to Black. If memory serves me right, the guy who bought it from me lived in or near Tarzana so obviously he sold the car a few years after buying it from me. I saw it in a commercial for 3D products when it was used as a demo for car polish and I tried to contact 3D but they said that they had no idea as to who owns the car as they use many cars for their commercials. Thanks a million for what you were able to dig up so far. If you have a link to the original eBay ad could you forward it to me? Thanks again. John Knittle…………….

There are worse misspellings of Fuchs, particularly for someone who has already arrived at "Fuch." (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Looks familiar; not many 914s with that wing. Possibly seen at G&R swap meet or Pelicsn C&C ?

I was searching for my 1st car years ago - sent a letter and $25 to Ca DMV and they sent me last known address. Might try that.
