Went and looked at this morning and staked a claim. It is ROUGH but still lots of salvageable parts. No motor, trans, steering wheel, gauges. Lots of rust. Chris and I will be picking it up this week.

All salvage-worthy parts have been removed.
The chassis was WAAAY too far gone to save, entire passenger long is gone, most of driver side, too. Almost the entire floor was rotted away. Even the A-arms and trailing arms had rot. This car was sliced up and taken to the metal scrappers. Thank you, 4742907087. You put up a brave fight, but in the end, sadly and unfortunately, the cancer did get you. Know that many of your parts will help other 914s continue to live on. In that way, you will still be on the road and not forgotten... Please join me in a moment of silence for our fallen friend... |
