Looking for those out there that have Weber 34 ICT carbs on their ride, particularly on a 1.7. What do you think of them? Are you happy with them? Do you wish you upgraded to 40's?

These carbs were a great remedy when they came out for the bus owner that had worn out Solex's ,properly fitted and jetted they were a good set up and certainly an improvement over the centre mount Weber.
They come with small venturies so offer good power low down but couldn't be described as a performance carb, the set I had on a single port T1 motor were easy to dial in and balance and stayed that way, some say the later type with the power valves went some way to cure the flat spot when used with a 009. These are an old design and were commonly fitted to some British Ford models back in the 60's and 70's,originally made by Weber then made under license in Spain. |
