Well, I have been talking about pivoting my 914 project to Boxster LS combo and took steps towards it by grabbing a 2004 Boxster S tranny in the last seconds of the auction. I had been watching it all week and told myself that if it was still available at is auction starting price of $750 (Buy it now price $1499) that I would nab it. Owner says it was out of his 2oo4 Boxster S. Has 82 K miles and has zero issues. Risky I know but at $750 plus shipping seemed that even if this project never saw fruition I could get my money back out of it. So, whatcha guys think. Good buy, average, or not so good? BTW, anyone on here who knows of anyone with the Boxster package or LS1 from Renegade they want to sell?

Thanks,
Brett

The problem with popping out of second only happens to the G86-20. I could be wrong, but think the 2004 is a G86-21.
