I am doing a 1.7 to 2.0 swap and have a complete 2.0 & trans.
Hope to drop the donor tomorrow. I noticed that the transmission on the 2.0 does NOT have a angle drive for the speedo While my 1.7 (the car this is going into does ) Both are side shift. Any insight? I didn't know and have never seen cable options ,the cable without the angle is longer. |

Switch in your old angle drive. They are all the same.
