Selling a 1970 914/6 long block for a friend. This engine was installed in my friend's car many years ago to replace the original engine. I drove the car with this engine about a month ago and while it ran very badly, it did not make any horrible noises nor belch out vast plumes of smoke. Subsequent investigation found the gas to be very old, the carbs very dirty and low compression on all cylinders (65%-120%) but it does turn over smoothly and the drain oil and plug were clean. Appears to be all original. Mileage and other history are unknown. Sold as is, as pictured. NO oil cooler or distributor. $4750/Offer plus shipping plus Paypal fees. Located in Ohio.
I also have a nice pair of 914/6 rebuilt Weber carbs and manifolds with replated linkage and new K&N filters and some misc 2.2L 911T engine parts at extra cost.
