Attached are pics of the rear of my alternator and the original 6 alternator harness
connections.
How to connect/adapt ?
The white plastic plug is obvious as is the large red Batt+
The small red has nowhere to go....no small Df stud.
Currently available alternators require modification of the harness but no further info
is provided.
Can my combination work ?
My charge lamp bulb is known good.
TIA

The 2 spade terminals look to be D- and DF, see the raised letters near them? So that leaves the small red wire to be D+ I think. Are there threads inside the hole next to the D+ ?

Jonathan
Yes, that is where the stud would be if it was so equipped.
I've looked inside that cover and there is no feature to attach a stud or elec.
lead to.
The alternator must be a later version but I can't believe it simply can not
be adapted.
