for sale is a 1970 porsche 914
clean Massachusetts title in hand. Car is a nice driving project i just have not had the time to spend on. Was bought by myself from a friend in Maine who kept it in a garage and out of the elements. motor is out of a 1972 and runs great with original fuel injection still working fine. only rust is around the battery tray in the engine compartment, and small rust spots in the rear trunk pictured. I cut out a piece of rusty metal to get a better shot of the hell hole, which i cleaned up a bit to show the solid metal. Longs are solid as well as jack points and all other points on car Exterior was originally white and resprayed green. small dent on right rear rocker cover. chunk of rubber missing from rear bumper as well. engine bay and front trunk were not re painted. heat exchange valves/blower motor not installed but i have them all included in working condition but will need new ducting. Engine runs great, fuel lines in the engine bay were done in the last 5 years when the previous owner replaced them. this year i removed the gas tank, replaced the strainer and the rubber lines under the tank with new rubber ones. The fuel pump and filter were changed to new a new Bosch 2 port pump and new fuel filter. only real issues on the car is the valve covers seem to be leaking, the turn signal switch shorted out and needs to be replaced, the horn is not working, and the reverse light is not working. the front targa seal, driver and passenger window to rear sail seals, and targa top seals should be replaced. Included is :5 gallons of Porsche 20w-50, a mahle oil filter, a new strainer basket, new seals that are recommended to be done during an oil change. - bottle of mahle dot 4 brake fluid and small fortune of spare parts I inherited from the previous owner including - the original engine that ran but had a bent valve. good for parts but would most likely need a rebuild and new heads. spins freely -2 tail shift trans-axles, 1 has crack on back of bell housing and seems bound up, another that moves freely -1 side shift trans-axle, seems to move freely - gas tank -and a bunch of misc engine and body parts http://s1042.photobucket.com/user/tsar_balthazar/story that is the link to the 160+ photos i took of it. some may be duplicates if it looks familiar, i tried auctioning on BAT i got more pictures like a better hell hole shot, the longs etc. Looking for 8000 |

Tried with both Chrome and Edge on my Win10 laptop - worked briefly and poorly, then locked up the browsers.
