I had 245/35R16 tires on 9" wheels on the back of my GT and they were a tight fit. Love the FM10 wheel, but I don't think the 255 tires will work.

Corona is less than an hour from my house. I’m running 245 in the rear. 255 racing tires fit, but the pilot sports have a curb rib that was rubbing, so I had to drop down to 245. |

But, looking at the pic ..if the SC was lower they would rub..maybe ?? ..need at least a backspace dimension and overall width. may need to repaint the rear... Could you say where you found the six tire/wheel cross section images? This looks like a handy tool to understand tire/wheel size, offset, backspacing, etc., especially when trying to compare combinations. Is this a calculator available on a tire supplier website? Thanks. Bigkat, Your car looks great. I usually think 17" wheels on a 914 look too big, but your combination works well. |

Looks like you'll need to run some small spacers ~ 15mm.
That's pretty minimal. If you like them I say do it. |

The (very nice) gray car’s flares are extended forward or lengthened. Good move. Looks like it helps with the front valence.
