[B]CONGRADULATIONS!!!!![SIZE=1]

There's not too many original unmolested "6's" left. From what I've seen, probably less than 100. I only know of about 6-7 in Socal, just haven't seen anymore than that.

I've had I don't know how many guys come up and start the,"You should", bigger engine, flares, etc, etc. I always answer, "How many unmolested, stock 914-6's do you know of?" Usually get a "Duh" type answer.

That's just one reason I won't chop my 6 up. There's a couple of other, probably the best one is, "She's beautiful just the way she is, why mess with perfection. My step-dad would probably dis-own me if I chopped her up, I don't think my heart would take chopping her up.

Well, she's not pure stock, I did put a side shifter in her, but I have the tail shifter up in the attic.

Once again, Congrats, you have a real treasure.

Best Regards, Don

QUOTE (xitspd @ Jul 2 2005, 04:31 PM)
(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) OK here we go! Just got back from Orange County! The traffic was terrible, but the car was unf-----g real! Here is the story. My partner Steve Aven has been servicing this Orange County car for the original owner for over twenty years. The owner passed away last year and his wife asked if we wanted to buy the car. The car is original with the exception of the parts that have needed to be replaced over time. Steve rebuilt the transmission about 15000 miles ago. Jim East did one of his $5000.00 paint jobs a few years back. A very rare and unmolested 914-6.

Beautiful, a score and a half!!!!

Thanks Guys! My other two 914-6's have been highly modified! It was strange for me to drive the new machine. Much smoother than my other sixers. Very well balanced. My red car has a 3.6 and my orange car has a 2.7. The new car is a real trip!
