You laughed but my offer still stands. It is not like we rebuild these daily and the shops that do, have them all ready. All about supply and demand. Rarity has very little to factor in, if people do not need the tool every day.
And at your current price I can do a lot of other things, including buying a larger Lathe and Mill to make the pieces I would need to set the pinion depth in a 901. Your kit is only saving people time and mental energy. This forum has a few guys that rebuild transmissions as a side hustle, no one is doing it day in day out to make a living. For a twice used tool in my lifetime, it is still to high of a price. And the horseshoe method of marking the pinion and running it through its paces will work, it is just not German Precise. While That is all well and good, and I love it, sometimes I can live with being 0.002 to 0.008 off on a setting. Factory listed tolerances for a reason.
