no brutus the 916 sold for 1million 78 thousand in february Awww but that was a 916, technically a different animal. A 914-6 is a 914, a 916 while based on the 914 platform was not a 914 so it was the first million dollar 916, this could be the first million dollar 914. |

It wasn't many years ago that I never thought I'd see the day, but RS 2.7 street car prices and various early race car prices eventually got me to rethinking that—as have prices for top "regular" 914-6s. Cool thing about 914s is there are still four-figure project cars out there, and these cars are simple enough mechanically to be |

QUOTE Original 914/6 GT VIN : 914 043 0032 Modified to GT in the factory customer sports department / Repair works in Zuffenhausen. According to the official GT-list this Chassis-No. is the first of 27 factory built GT's. Well documented race and car history with plenty of photographs. The car is absolutely rust free, as it had been used until 1973 for racing only. The current owner (since 1980) has only driven it in summer. The body is 100% in the condition as built in 1970 by Karmann and Porsche. The car was completely stripped in 1980 for condition checking, painted and re-assembled with all original parts. No re-painting since then. The car runs perfect and has no flaws. Plenty of race parts and accessories: 24 sets of transmission gears in original wood box, 4 sway bars with different diameters, set of Bilstein shocks, 2nd set of Fuchs wheels 8 and 9 ”× 15” Price: € 490,000.00 Attached image(s) |

Even the replicas look good. The paint job and dissimilar wheels balance the whole car. That's an art car more than any other 914 variant I've seen.

When Gary was alive he brought the car to the Hershey Porsche Swap Meet every year also Steve Limbert from Air Cool Racing who owns the Green Max Moritz GT also brought his and still does every year
So cool to see both GT’s at the swap meet |

It's usually when a Barrett, Russo, Mecum, Gooding auction broadcasts into our media streams when we catch a glimpse of the "Action". I still think that the guy who discovered the other Bullit car in a Baja California auto salvage yard found one the holy grails of Mustangs. We might see the wealthiest Porsche collector nab the Daytona 24hr gt for $1.750M with all hammer fees in |
