Got a business deal that I'm working but something doesn't feel right. The financer, an investor, just seems a little off base. The funding for the sartup and first project is supposed to be right at about 1M but we can't seem to pin this guy down on firm dates or amounts.

Aside from the not free "free" public records search engines out there how else can I get background info on this person? We've got limited resources for this start up so we're strapped.

Thanks!
Mike D.

Hire a licensed private investigator....most require a form to be signed by the person being looked into so as to get the most indepth information.

But a less invasive background CAN be done....a lot of public records are collected by companies and they can be accessed by a subscription fee. Most times you need a DOB, DL# and/or a SS# .....
