for sale an early ‘73 1.7. under 75k miles, majority original parts/body..(besides paint). Runs like a top. Second owner has far as I know, original California car, always kept. Shift bushing top/bottom recently done. Great car. Want to keep it but could use cash. Located in SF Bay Area. Will add some pictures here in a few minutes. VIN is in database. Any questions, ask away.
Will start asking 18k on craigslist/other sites. Would post for 17k here. That being said, needs some small electrical work to get top dollar, so maybe willing to work something out before I make her all pretty. Thanks |

Nice looking car but no, not original. What’s that paint color? Rear bumper is not from 1973. Lower targa trim? If that’s original it would have vinyl above it. Post lots more photos and let’s see what you really have.

Like I said it’s not original paint. Mechanically almost all original. Targa sails painted. Have sails from 914rubber in box but think it looks fine in this gray color. Not sure color name, apparently 911 color? Didnt realize that on rear bumper, its an early 73 if makes difference.
Will post more pics soon. Car is at my parents house right now, swore I had more pics on my phone. Oops. Need to get more. I have videos for anyone interested as of now. Forgot how the market with 914s has got. Didnt mean to make such a crazy statement of it being original. I know thats big dollars now. Lol. I know you’re the guy to know whether something era-correct though Jeff. Thanks |

No worries, its a nice looking 914. Must have missed that statement about the paint not being original. Pictures! When you can get to it. Needless to say, be ultra careful with that word 'original'.
