24 Hour Notice. The 2020 Route 66 Classic is about to start. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/flag.gif)
I have been informed by the *official* Route 66 Competition Committee that my revised Covid plan of Barstow to Victorville is insufficient mileage (50) due to the limited number (1) of cars registered. Therefore . . . . The route has been extended. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)


New Plan:
Start near Laughlin. (where the original event was scheduled to end)
9:14 AM - Pick up Route 66 from Highway 95.
The tour will visit Goffs, Essex, Amboy, Bagdad. Ludlow, Newberry Springs and Daggett before arriving in Barstow for lunch. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chowtime.gif)
After 200 miles of lonely road, the drive to Victorville will surely seem much more exciting.
