Will do!
Ill make a build thread in a week or so. So far the plan is k24 w/ Cayman 6 speed. RSR front and rear coil overs w/ 5lug. 16x7 or 8s if i could with 225 square setup rubber on 200tw. no flares. custom fitting stoptech c43 big brake kit on this car 309x32mm rotors. motorsport abs. New bushings, Inner reinforcement. And Ill be building a 4 point rear roll bar that ties into the rear struts through the window. I have to do more research on roll bar mounting points. Goal is 2000lbs with 225 whp. It shouuld rip. Then ill do some CFD and do front diffusers and brake ducks. |

Sounds like a cool plan. What do you use for CFD?

I use ansys. I have used others as well auto desk flow and solid works. Nice. Last I heard, CFD was expensive enough to not be practical for most hobbyists (10s of thousands of $$). Is that still the case? I'd love to do some CFD on my 914. I made custom bodywork, flat-bottomed it, and put substantial diffuser on the back. Until now, the analysis has consisted of copying designs from other cars. Would be cool to do some CFD on it. |

I am fortunate enough to get student from school and tinker licensing from work. I have 3d scanned my 2002 with lidar however cleaning up the model is a big pia. Attached thumbnail(s) |

cleaned up ish
This car has a full flat floor with no holes and fully sealed with SS structural rivets and seam sealer glue. Same stuff they use to glue lotuses together. Rear diffuser that starts under the seats at an angle of 7.5 degrees. |
