Sad to hear it, but appreciate you making the call decisively to eliminate any uncertainty.

To me, the waiting and uncertainty is the worst part. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Probably for the best. Gives me time to swap out my leaking Turbo to be in fighting shape for when the run happens. This group will surely make it epic!! Thanks for stepping up!

Room reserved & if anyone wants to split a room. Just hit me up. Think it was just over $400 for all 3 days. So $200 buys you the other bed. My snoring included for free (IMG:style_emoticons/default/evilgrin.gif)
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ... I suffer from the same affliction (IMG:style_emoticons/default/yellowsleep[1].gif)

Thanks for the update Mike. Maybe the postponement will allow me to have a good running German vehicle ready for when it's safe to go back in the water (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif)

Mike & Robert,

Was holding out hope that it would still happen, but completely understand. Appreciate your effort to organize this. Am looking forward to seeing everyone when the event is rescheduled.

Safety & Blessings,
Jerry & Cathy

Thank's Mike.

I live in the Petaluma area, and I can tell you that I was torn about cancelling the event.

The community will undoubtedly be up and running ASAP - probably in time for this event. But the mood is not positive. So many businesses are closing and so many people struggling in this VERY expensive area of the country.

Ultimately, Mike and I chopped it all down to this: We want to maximize the number of members who can attend.... and if that means waiting until the smoke clears a bit more on some of our finances and social lives, well so be it.

Aside from the cars, spending quality time together is super important to our members. (And Beer)

Looking forward to eventually getting together.... and NOT talking about the Covid crisis.

Actually we can celebrate 50 years until...2026!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) I know in 2024 I'm going to celebrate 50 years for my Bumblebee.

Thanks Robert!

I'll be here to help if you need a hand with rescheduling this.

Hoping that Sonoma County will be ready to move forward soon, but the situation dictates when that'll happen and it's not something you can rush.

PM me if you need a hand.
