Ad says it was involved in a fire in 1972. Was that before or after it fell off the cliff!

Spot on! Missed that. I probably wouldn’t have shared it if I hadn’t seen it wrong. Even at 1,900 it’s a dubious investment, IMHO.

Condition is listed as "fair". Clearly we have a difference of opinion on what one would decribe as "fair". (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

on a similar theme
this went through an auction local to me for £1650, I dropped out at £1600 having calculated what it was worth to me
It was advertised by a "classic car specialist" a week later at £3600 and is on sale again but at the other end of the country, i suspect the 2 dealers swap stock to try to shift it for each other

Yup. If this is actually selling, then more people have probably had her than the local streetwalker.

Edit: or, she's still looking for a sucker, so same thing...

This is similar to what happened to 356's. Eventually 914's will fall into the same category of "there are no parts cars".

$19k seems high for a 914-6 VIN, but I've been away for a while. Wadda I know? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)
